ABOUT ME

I live in Sydney with my Canadian girlfriend, Kristen. We live in the Inner West and spend our spare time listening to live music, cycling, eating brunch, drinking beers and whipper snippering our tiny backyard. I work as a video producer for radio station triple j, filming bands and music festivals. We are always saving for our next big trip. We've been to Canada (by default), across the USA twice, South America, Middle East, Japan and a little bit of Europe so far. Our next trip is to Vietnam, so if you've been...

At the moment, my aim is to change one person's opinion about something that I think is important. Once I've done that, I'll worry about the other 6 billion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed my first couch in Toronto, Canada in 2007. My host, Jason, came down to meet me at the hostel "So does this work?" I asked. "I don't know, I've never done it before" he answered. I lived with him for 4 months. We hosted CSers together and slowly got the hang of it. Then I went on a spontaneous roadtrip across the USA for 5 weeks, couchsurfing through Pennsylvania, Colorado and Oregon. When I got back to Toronto I moved in with my second host (pattern emerging?) and we hosted people in our share house for a year. Then I went home and am now hosting CSers on our couch in Sydney, Australia.
