Robert Macdougall and I haven't hosted anyone yet because we are currently traveling and new to Couch Surfing. But we have stayed with some amazing hosts in the Netherlands. Got to make some new friends there. I love to travel. I used to be a military wife and mother. I've been to Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, and Kyoto Japan. I lived in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years. I have 2 amazing grandchildren who i love very much. Im retired and ready to travel and meet people again. I'm spiritual, compassionate, respectful, considerate, honest, trustworthy, love to laugh, meet people and try new experiences. I'm a writer, foodie, quilter, quilting teacher, and a human who treats others how I want to be treated, because we are all one, unity consciousness. I'm always learning something new. Robert and I are traveling companions. Robert is intuitive, creative, amusing, smart, entertaining, helpful and strong. He likes to cook, eat, laugh, and help people. He's a Reiki master, Star Trek fan, sweet and honest. He's into science fiction, plays the didgeridoo.

To me, the best part about traveling to new places is meeting new people and that's the best way to learn about each other's culture. I'm new to couch surfing, but wish I would have known about it years ago cause its a great way to make friends and meet new people. Wish to find a great place to stay, meeting wonderful new people and returning the favor by hosting awesome new people once I get settled in Europe.

I am a mother and grandmother, that's pretty amazing by itself! I also lived in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years. Did a lot of snorkeling, sightseeing and taught quilting classes to Japanese and American women. Former military wife and we were stationed overseas.
