I've had my fair share of hotel and hostel stays, and would like to travel in a different way, to get another kind of experience.
I want to meet the local people. Learn local cultures and customs. Share a traditional meal. See beyond the tourist trail and lastly but not least, I want to improve my language skills.

Intereses

I don't go out partying much, but I appreciate a few glasses of wine or beer while being with friends.
I play the card game Magic the Gathering quite a lot. I play at the local store twice a week, and often invite friends home for a game night.
We have a habit of meeting up 2-3 times a month, playing board games/sing-star, making food together and get a drink.

Tunes on my playlist...
I have a broad taste in music. I listen to many different genres, be it classical, pop, rock, k-pop, R&B and so on. Heavy metal and rap rarely makes the cut though.
I really have a thing for soundtrack music too, which means my playlist is packed with basically anything.

On the big screen...
All time favorite movie: Dragon Heart! I do know the story line is thin and the acting is not the best, but I've loved that movie since I was little - you just can't say no to Sean Connery as a dragon.
I love to cry my eyes out to k-drama. Anime has had a special place in my heart the last 15 years or so, and other than that, I am a big Disney fan. I am not particularly picky when it comes to movies. Compared to many of my friends, I have learned that I value good visual effects more than a flawless story line.

I love to read, unfortunatly I do not get to do it quite enough. Fantasy is clearly my favorite. The latest I read was the Kings Killer Chronicle, and just recently began on the Dresden Files.
Although it is not a book as such, I am a very big fan of the comic book series Fables

I became a judge for the game I love, and it have brought me many wonderful experiences.
I often get to travel to "work" (which it really doesn't feel like. Spending a day amongst amazing people, talking and spending time, learning about new teammembers is the most enjoyable thing in the world), and in addition, I even get to travel the world ^^
