CURRENT MISSION We love meeting new people! ABOUT ME We are a relaxed and friendly couple who enjoy travelling and meeting people from foreign countries. We live in a semi-detached house in a smalltown called Weissenhorn in Bavaria, 15 minutes from Ulm (150.000 inhabitants, nice sights to visit, historical old town, highest church steeple in the world! http://tourismus.ulm.de/kurzinfos/gb-u_ulm.pdf). Weissenhorn is a lovely little town with timbered houses and lots of forests, meadows and lakes, about 1h from the Alps. It's ideal for swimming, rollerblading and cycling in the summertime. There are also lots of "beer-festivals" around here with authentic Bavarian humpdada music. (-; Augsburg, Munich and Stuttgart can be reached within 1,5 - 2 hours by public transport. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE When I worked as an aupair girl in New York, my friend and I went to Canada by Greyhound. On the bus, we met a Greek guy from Toronto who invited us to sleep on the sofa of the library in his fraternity house. So this was a real couchsurfing experience! I think offering a coach is a great opportunity to meet new people and make travelling easier, but also funnier for everybody. I don't need anyone to babysit me 24/7, but I think it's nice to have a person in an unknown city who can show me around a bit or meet me for a drink after work just to chat.
