Hey! I am a social worker living in Montréal since approximately 4 years now. I was born near Dijon and left France to study social work here in Montréal, I decided to stay here because i love the city, Québec and the people I've met here ! I am a happy person, always glad to try out activities, I am very curious so I enjoy learning new things, talking about your interests and mine. I am always looking for better ways to improve and enjoy life !

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I've had the occasion to be welcome by many people (friends or strangers), that's why I'm on CS, I want to be able to give back by welcoming people in our modest apartment :) Meeting people ! I love to learn new things and meet new people.

Soooo many things i could say. Music : La rue Kétanou, Ridan, Ben Mazué, Mademoizelle K, Lhasa De Sela, Debout sur le Zinc, HaBanot Nechama, Bonga, Bebe, Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, Devendra Banhart, Bjork, Ben Barnes, Soan, Les Yeux D'La Tête, Bourvil, Chopin, Bach, Barbara, Nina Simone, .......... And many more I don't think of. Movies : I listen to so many movies i can't really tell any favorites. Books : Currently reading L'anarchiste et le diable (''The anarchist and the Devil'' I guess ?) and No Logo by Naomi Klein. My last readings were A Sunday at the Pool at Kigali by Gil Courtemanche, Letter to my Daughter by Maya Angelou, For Those I Loved by Martin Gray.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Just came back from a hitchhiking trip along the north cost of Quebec which I liked really much Moving to Canada by myself was quite an adventure :) Meeting people in bizarre airport situations

My Interests

I've been into music since I'm little, started playing flute and now learning guitar and piano. I looooove singing, I sing all the time ! I love outdoor activities like hiking or rock climbing, I like biking, rollerblading, volleyball, etc. As a social worker, I have a great interest into different social movements like feminism, ecology, anarchism, anti-colonialism, anti-racism, etc, I love great talks around those king of subjects and ways to improve our way of living. I like going out, I'm not a party animal I prefer going out to listen for live music, or cultural events, or simply chill with friends in parks or at home.
