ABOUT ME

It's really hard to describe yourself. So I'll give it my best and try not to sound too cringe worthy.

I'm a 22 year old from Melbourne, Australia. I'm in an electro band and have been a DJ for 4 years. As cliche as it sounds, I'm easy going and accepting of all. You would have to work pretty hard to weird me out.

I have a passion for meeting new people. I love hearing stories about people and getting a sense for how they have lived their lives. Particularly from people of other cultures.

I have been a photographer for 5 years and it will always be my first love. I studied philosophy and politics at university and then went on to study Fine Art, majoring in Photography.

PHILOSOPHY

My motto as directly stolen from Douglas Adam's Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is "Don't Panic!"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about couch surfing from my housemate, who showed me how useful it is for travelers. since then, we have had couch surfers from all over the globe. It's been amazing meeting so many interesting people from a plethora of different cultures. Travelers have the best stories!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The thing I've enjoyed most about couch surfing is showing our guests around Melbourne. At first it made me realize how little I knew about my own city, but then I grew to love seeing the amazement on our guests faces.

Cheesy I know, but it was really rewarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

Particularly electronic music, but I have an appreciation for all music styles.

I tend to lean towards comedy films, but sometimes enjoy a philosophical film. For example, A Scanner Darkly is one of my favorite films of all time.

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy one of the first books I read, so it's always resonated with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think performing on new years eve 2009/10 to 10,000 people at Melbounre's Fall's Festival in Lorne was one of the greatest things I've ever experience. Looking out over the crowd was truly breath taking. it was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy teaching people new skills. Through whatever means, I have been able to learn the skills at one point so I feel I need to pass on as much as possible.

I can show you how to DJ, play Guitar/Bass/Drums, rach you about photography and give a remedial lesson in computers.
