About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to live my life to the fullest. I figure I only get one shot at this thing called life so why not make see as much of the world as possible and make some friends along the way. Life is a gift that I do not intend to waste.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old student who enjoys a little adventure. I served 4 years in the US Marines, have been to 10 countries (but that will change soon), and love new experiences. I've been told I'm a people person which I think is true; I get along with just about everyone. I love water sports, trying different foods, exploring, and spending time with interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by the Golden Rule, even though others don't. If I can make a positive impact in world society then I can say that I truly lived. Here's hoping...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS scene and will only be able to host in Taiwan for another month. Hopefully, I can contribute something to this since it's a great idea and really gives people the opportunity to meet others who have a different background from them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None... yet :)

Interests

People, ACTUALLY living life, music, exploring the world around me, and learning as much as I can

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many to list. Favorite movie is probably Fight Club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done quite a bit I think. There are too many amazing things I've seen and done. Maybe going to the Philippines was quite memorable. I'd never seen such mass poverty. It was one of those moments that made me appreciate everything I had even more than before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like intellectual people. It's always nice to sit down and have an intelligent conversation with someone over a coffee or lunch. I'm full of "useless" knowledge and have had a fair amount of experience.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, Taiwan
