About Me
CURRENT MISSION
With the help of a good friend who works for the airlines, I will be traveling (standby) around the country, along with some nearby Islands as well! Couchsurfing helped me make the courageous journey of moving to Denver from a small town in Missouri, and I'm hoping to meet great people while I travel across the country. I live in Lakewood, and I'm open to hosting those who want to experience Denver/Rocky Mountains!
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Missouri, both the city and the country. Both lifestyles have given me wonderful perspectives on life, love, and traveling! I am currently going through a career change, so why not travel the country/world in the process! Currently, I will be working part time at the casino while i prepare to get my real estate license here in Colorado. I play competitive baseball, snowboard, hike, and any other way to stay busy. Guests must be dog friendly, as i have a boxer who thinks he's a chihuahua at times.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in treating everyone with respect, kindness, and love. I believe that a smile and a genuine, sincere greeting can change the world, one stranger at a time. - me
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
Leo Tolstoy
"Ivan Ilych's life had been most simple and most ordinary and therefore most terrible." - Leo Tolstoy, The Death of Ivan Ilych
"Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint."
Mark Twain
The mind is the only thing i wish to be buried with. My goal is to fill it to the brim with experiences and friendships.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing helped me make the move from a small town to Denver. This site opened my eyes to like-minded people, and I believe organizations like this are vital in keeping our country (and world) a loving, accepting one.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very little, atleast on this site. Growing up my parents preached that its better to crash on a couch (or floor) rather than drink and drive. This was before Uber, after all. So that mindset has stuck with me, and now I'm in a position to travel and host!
