ABOUT ME
I'm a computer programmer for Cornell U by day, but on my own time I write, shoot photographs, and edgy art house videos. I like to exercise and stay in shape. I'm not much for the outdoors, honestly, but if it's warm out I could go hiking, canoeing, or lounge on the beach. I like movies, music, and TV.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's too short to get angry about things. I like to chill out and take things easy. Humor is very important to me, and I like to be around people who make me laugh. But while I'm pretty chill, I'm also a pretty straight-forward kind of a guy. I say what's on my mind with little or no filtration. But I also give other people the freedom to be themselves, whoever they are. It's all good.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been on a Peter Lorre kick lately. I also dig Bette Davis, Shelley Winters, Sydney Greenstreet, and early Marilyn Monroe movies. There's something about older, black&white movies that really charms me. In terms of contemporary movies, I have favorites in all genre's. "Harold & Maude" is my all-time favorite.
As far as music goes I'm pretty much about contemporary alternative rock. Classic rock is what I grew up with, but I've heard all that stuff so many times that I'm sick of it. I'm kind of re-discovering Disco. I hated it when I was a kid, but not it makes me nostalgic. Lite rock isn't edgy enough, pop is too saccharine, country's not my thing, and classical puts me to sleep. Dance music is okay if I'm in the mood.
I don't read as much as I should, especially considering I'm a writer myself. I don't really have any favorite authors, but I dig Tom Robbins' first few novels. "Still Life With Woodpecker" is my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a photograph included in a book, and I was present in the art gallery for the release event. It was a real kick and it made me feel like a legitimate artist.
