Overview
About Me
I'm a creative communication machine and love being around interesting people. If you like nightlong discussions about politics, rock, metal and blues music, jam sessions, outside activities and having a great time, chances are you've found the right place!
I'm also an almost 7 foot / 2,08 meter vegan with a passion for cooking and I talk way too fast. ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to host people whenever I can. This can be tricky due to my job from time to time, but I'm doing my best. :-)
When abroad, I love to meet new people via CS.
Interests
I'm a music guy with a passion for rock, blues, metal and folk music. I also sing and play the guitar, so I'm always up for a jam session or nice indie concerts.
Cooking and sports are a huge part of my life - I play basketball occasionally and I'm also a fitness enthusiast.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: White Lies , Arctic Monkeys, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, Editors, Interpol, The Bravery, Sonic Youth, Rammstein... Post-Punk, Indie, Alternative, Rock, Metal!
Books: I love Edgar Allan Poe and Walter Moers (a German author with some sort of fantasy-comedy novels..). Zafon's "The Shadow of Wind" trilogy is also one of my favorites. I generally enjoy epic fantasy books, philosophically touched literature and any kind of catchy mainstream literature. From time to time I also like to read philosophical books or biographies.
Movies: All the movies that make me think about it days after I watched it. I love movies with a message! I'm not so much interested in flat Hollywood comedies with always the same ending.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That's most certainly a hard question to answer, but I really enjoy the intimacy and beauty of certain social encounters, like a nice chat in a train. The little things in life are important to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn about the local styles of music that exist as well as about the personal philosophies people have.
I surely could show you some vegan recipes or how to survive when you're always taller than anybody else. :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll make you check the dust above your cupboards.
