About Me

A keen fan of music, film and art, I love exploring and discovering new places and the little nooks, crannies and hidden secrets of cities. I love cooking (I'm vegetarian myself, but not averse to cooking anything and everything) and having a few drinks in the evenings, usually before heading out to a gig.

I play a whole bunch of instruments (drums, guitar, bass, a bit of piano) and I'm always looking for people to make music and share ideas with - I currently play in an indie-rock band, but any and every genre appeals (except maybe reggae, but I'm willing to be swayed).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling solo across Australia in January 2016 and looking to meet some great people and make new friends along the way. The best way to get to know a place is definitely through locals, and I'd love to view your city the way you do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a half marathon for the mental health charity Mind following minimal training. Raised a tonne of money and only sustained a minor injury. Result.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a keen writer, editor and social media 'guru' (sorry), I can offer a whole heap of knowledge in those fields, as well as train you up in Photoshop and InDesign. Having also worked in music PR and various other roles throughout the music industry, I've got a whole world of do's and don'ts to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, particularly for other people. Likewise, if you fancy great company for a drink or a walk (or both at the same time!) I am always up for any activity you might fancy. I'm terrible at saying no to things, which I guess is a good trait to have!
