About Me

Hi there!

I’m Tom, 25, living in a lively flatshare right in the heart of the city! Originally from the countryside, I cherish moments spent outdoors—whether it’s hiking, discovering green spots, or just enjoying a breath of fresh air. I love the buzz of music festivals, sharing good times with friends, cooking tasty dishes, and taking care of my ever-growing collection of houseplants. You’ll find me open-minded and always happy to swap stories or show you around my favorite places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS to connect with people and experience places from a local perspective. I live near an apartment hotel, so I often meet travelers who ask for recommendations. I always enjoy giving them a quick tour of the old town and seeing how happy they are to discover local spots. For me, it's all about sharing positive energy, exchanging stories, and making each trip memorable through real connections.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do love drum n bass and rock but also listen to pretty much every music genre you can imagine!
My favorite movie & book genre is science fiction for sure.
Interstellar, 1984, The common wealth saga, nomads, Star Trek… I enjoy everything with a good plot and futuristic worlds. Space Opera might be my lyrical heaven.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a network engineer working in cybersecurity I’m really into technology and software. Also I would call myself an avid hobby chef.
Languages are connecting foreigners, so I would appreciate any new language pieces taught to me

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to share some great moments together. I usually bring along a few local beers — they’re perfect to break the ice over a relaxed chat.
Of course, only if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I always try to be a considerate guest — someone who adds good vibes rather than stress. My friends say I have a good sense for reading the vibe and adjusting to the situation. They’d probably describe me as pretty easygoing :)
