As a simple man of flesh and bone, I've always found my self worth in making people laugh. At secondary school I won the award for 'most likely to become a stand-up comedian'. Rest assured though, I'm not a joke a minute, endless amounts of energy type of funny, more a seeing the funny side of virtually everything type of funny. One example being when I was working for a furniture delivery company and my colleague was bitten on the arse by a customer's dog after unsuccessfully making good his escape post erection of a fine oak wardrobe. For the rest of the day I had uncontrollable giggles whilst he suffered.

Aside from my tiresome humor, I'm a sociable and inquisitive character. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing amazing sights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently completed a 6 month bike tour with Laura (my wife). We used the hosting site called Warm showers. This is designed to accommodate touring cyclists and during our tour me met some truly amazing people. Each host we met gave us such a good understanding of their town/region/country and we look forward to hosting them once our travels are finished. I am hoping that we can have similar experiences through the Couch Surfing community. I know there are amazing people out there and I want to meet them!
