Overview
About Me
Hey! I just finished my master's in Applied Physics at the University of Technology Eindhoven. I grew up in Groningen in the north of the Netherlands and moved to the south for studies. However, in between I left to travel for 7 months through New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and Japan. I also went on a semester abroad to Mexico in 2015 and have just come back from a year of research in California in the United States. I really love to travel and mostly to stay at places for a sufficient time to feel local :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is the ideal way to get to know a new place. Even if you only get one good recommendation for a place to visit, a cool bar around or a nice restaurant, it's already great and is so much more fun than to check TripAdvisor or something similar.
Interests
I love traveling, which is my main hobby I guess. In new places, my favorite things to do are to explore the local street food and the museums or to skate around and see the whole city like that. I am often listening to music, of which it does not matter the kind, I just like to hear all :)
