About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Developing my company called Eventival, preparing the production of a feature film called "The Seduction of Ingmar Bergman" written by Ron and Russell Mael of Sparks / FFS, writing and making music.
PHILOSOPHY
I think there's nothing I would like to say Nietzsche or Camus haven't said already but of course that's false modesty - who hasn't got drawers full of appendices of questionable relevance written in moments of divine or worldly inspiration?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everything is interesting with interesting people.
Interests
My two irreplaceable passions are writing and music and despite working in the film industry for years I still like the cinema. Other than that, I love driving in open spaces accompanied by "someone nice", as one song says, with music blasting from open windows letting in the sweet scent of elsewhere, looking forward to the next moment which usually comes. I lived in Thailand and Korea where I still feel at home, I love the Mediterranean but also the Northern cities like Amsterdam or Berlin and of course New York, I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sparks, to name one, and then S.A.H.B., Cockney Rebel, Pavlov's Dog, Van der Graaf Generator, Beatles, Cream, Who, Procol Harum, King Crimson, Pink Floyd.
Films by Greenway, Bergman, Bunuel, Fellini, Jarmusch, Lynch, Wenders...
The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell is the book I've always loved the most. And then books by Celine, Proust, Camus, Kafka, Hamsun, Virginia Wolf, Henry Miller, Kundera and the forgotten great Czech writer Ladislav Fuchs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing one now - working with Ron and Russell Mael of Sparks, people I've never thought I would even meet, let alone contribute to something they do.
Countries I’ve Lived In
