Overview
About Me
Hi guys!
I am about to set out on a 5 month trip across the US- from the West coast to the east coast and would love to meet up with some friendly faces along the way.
A bit about me- I am a very honest, caring, enthusiastic, and respectful person, always willing to help in any way that I can! I was raised in a small farming town in South Africa (where there were more donkeys than humans), which engrained in me the joys of a life outside of the city and the happiness that comes with a simple life. I have a degree in Science, and have spent the past 3 years working in an innovative start-up University in Mauritius, focussed on developing Leadership and Entrepreneurship on the African continent.
I have travelled fairly extensively on my own, and the incredible people I have met along the way have always been what's made the trip. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the wonderful experiences this life can bring to us!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I strongly believe that the people you meet along the way are what mean the most in life. As I go through this period of travelling and exploring the world, I really want to meet and form meaningful relationships with as many people as I can, from as many different walks of life as possible- and couchsurfing is an excellent avenue for this to happen through.

I always want to know more about the world, so I look forward to adding some of your interests to this list.
- education
- cooking
- fitness
- yoga

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Packed up my life and moved to a remote island to build a university aimed at transforming the African continent
- Learnt to drive in the middle of the night in the Namibian desert
- Travelled South America alone (lived in a favela in Rio)
- Explored the underground cities in Turkey
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a qualified personal trainer as well as having a TEFL certification for teaching English, with a lot of experience in both, and would be more than happy to share this with any hosts. I would love to help you with your English (or Afrikaans!), as well as helping with any health and wellbeing goals you may have. Learning about your culture, your music, your food, and any other aspects would be incredible for me- and I would be more than happy to share that with you from my culture as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Above all, whether it be an evening of playing music, cooking, or talking about the world- I will always be fully present and willing to share anything that I can to anyone who hosts me.
