I'm a curious character - into arts and science and other wonders of the world. I love a bicycle tour or an afternoon on roller skates, as much as tour of the galleries or a book club meeting. Bollywood discos, Asian chill and Trance work for me, but I find it hard to stay up late so I often miss the best gigs...

I'd like to accommodate guests whenever I'm around - although I travel a lot of course :-)

I've had great experiences couch-surfing, and met such wonderful people!

兴趣

I love...
dancing -- Bollywood, modern, salsa... I love it all! -- bicycling (no day without!), roller skating (wanna see new places on skates!) ...and why not lying on the beach once the muscles ache...
the arts - stuff like Hans Arp's Nuages, organic forms, Klee, Miró, and the fresh ideas that hang and hum in the galleries these days...
literature -- Borges, Neruda, Prevert, Pratchett (who occasionally gets accused of literature as well) ---
creatures -- from cats to rats to goats to gibbons -- (but I'm allergic to most of them)
languages (European, mainly - but I'd love to learn more)
travel (goes without saying)

Music: Bollywood! Asian chill... flamenco guitar <3, finn-metal, Finnish rock, Maija Vilkkumaa, Kingston Wall, Shpongle, Eat Static, Shostakovitch, Debussy, Schubert piano trios, african drumming... The beat is my lifeline

Visited our ancient cousins, the lemurs of Madagascar, our distant cousins, living isolated on the island for millions of years.

I like sharing music - listening to what you enjoy, and letting you hear some of my favorite songs. Cooking together can be fun, as well as learning languages.
