CURRENT MISSION

Adam and I like meeting new people and we have an extra bedroom -- it seems right it should be used as much as possible. We think this is an awesome part of the country to visit.

ABOUT ME

We enjoy ideas. We enjoy laid back people, we are pretty flexible. We read people well and if you need space we can give it and if we need space we can ask for it. We like the outdoors and we are curious. We welcome kids, we were foster parents for 3 years.

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that our primary purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. To us that means we follow what He says, live in gratitude, and live life to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We took a leave for 4 months in 2008 and traveled all around and would have liked the opportunity if we had known about it. Right now we are looking to do more hosting (considering our place in life, and our empty basement) and maybe one day do some surfing ourselves.

We have pretty broad taste, we like the arts wholly, and appreciate when they are done well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We travelled on the west coast for 2 months, and in southeast Asia for 2 months. Scuba diving in Koh Tao, Thailand was an awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

We have experience in helping marriages, children, and families. We are both middle children "mediating types" - for a living we practice bringing people together, so couch surfing seems like it would be a good fit. We are also pretty frugal.
We like to swing dance, we'd like to get better at that. We would like to learn more about whatever it is YOU do, there are too many things to list!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are the type to like having interesting, growing, curious kids around, we would probably have them in tow. We are doing our best to parent well and teach our kids gratitude and generosity.
