Happy to make intercultural friendships! Haven’t had the chance to travel much until 1.5 years ago, because I haven’t had the most linear career path. So I have come to believe that being able to travel is a huge privilege.

I am currently on a 4 months journey in Asia starting with Vietnam for the first time where I’ll spend part of the first leg of my trip with family and then I’ll be on my own. This is sort of an identity quest, having been born and raised in Canada. I am really curious about the embodiment/how we move when we get feel at home. Who gets to feel at home and where. And who doesn’t.

I don’t tend to remember too much the attractions I visit, but I fondly hold precious the memories made and the people I met along the way !

I want to get the opportunity to learn through the eyes of a local and the ups and downs of tourism! And the usual day to day stuff about life in your city! Not too much interested in the touristy stories (like what to visit), but insights on life in your country if you feel like sharing!

I like a lot of stuff but these days I’ve been into cafe lounge music lol. I am sucker for sociology books given it’s my thing (space invaders, the mushroom at the end of the world, the end of love, etc). Love anything Sara Ahmed writes!! Love good social thrillers (Get Out, Parasite…)

One is starting an intercultural outdoor activities project with immigrants in my city and being moved by the experiences of people being initiated to activities they wouldn’t have accessed otherwise!
