ABOUT ME
I grew up moving to one rural town after the other and that attitude kinda stuck with me. Always considered myself to be a traveler - roaming place to place seeking the next new adventure. I'm pretty easy going, open to new thoughts and ideas, like to laugh and have fun and if there's no fun to be had I'll make some.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life or eat the dust... either way, just remember to have a drink of water now and again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been to a couple of CS meetings in Winnipeg and I've recently started surfing.
Interests
I love taking long walks with no particular direction or prediction, usually meeting some pretty cool random people along the way. When I can, kayaking down the Red looking for schools of carp and catfish to catch. I consider myself an amateur inventor (or a crazy one at the very least), small things mostly but I like making my own gear for fishing, camping and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I'm listening to whatever I can find on tape, cause ya know cassettes are back in, and the Eagles kick a$$ but it's all about the metal... and you can never go wrong with a little R.E.M. or that oh so Canadian Sam Roberts. Movie wise, its all about the B-horror and definitely any thing with zombies or the Great Bruce. For books I tend to stay with travel, camping and hiking but one of my favorites has to be Prey
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Partying V.I.P. with Randy, Corey, and Lahey when they came for their three man show in Winnipeg
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my main reasons for traveling is the people; to learn about their culture and way of life, their struggles and triumphs, and ultimately take from that to make me hopefully a better man and to pass down what I have gained to others
