About Me
CURRENT MISSION
International Study of Sustainable and Primitive Practises
ABOUT ME
Currently on six month tour of Japan. Some of my goals are to study and experience the sustainable production of bamboo, tea, rice, thatch roofing, miso, and sake.
PHILOSOPHY
Reality is connectedness. Being connected to what is real makes life meaningful. I become connected by intuitively pursuing interests, especially where inspiration and opportunity overlap. Or something like that...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. My current lifestyle is about 90% travel. My primary contribution would have to be giving couch surfing a good name by being the best guest a host could ask for.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not yet used the CS network to couch surf. However, I have had many "unofficial" CS type experiences throughout my life. Most recently, while volunteering at an organic farm in Portugal, a young lady was so interested in my project that she insisted I stay at her house for a full month. It was a fabulous experience and I think we will always be friends.

Sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Antigua to Faial with two other people on a 38 foot boat. Twenty-four days without seeing land was an amazing experience.
