Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people and making new friends. And because I do long charity rides to raise funds, I try to keep my expenses at a minimum. Couchsurfing hosts help me do that. ☺

I usually listen to classical in the day and jazz in the evening. But I also like 60's (my era) and occasionally some classic rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first charity bike ride was a solo, unsupported ride from Akron Ohio to Key West FLA, arriving in my home town on my 69th birthday. I raised $11,000 for the American Diabetes Association.
