About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Kaizen

ABOUT ME

My 'real' name is Patrycja but I introduce myself as Trish to avoid being called Pat ever again (yes, it's happened :D). I grew up in Poland but studied and lived in the UK for 9 years (in the glorious city of Preston for the most part).

I've just spent almost two years in China teaching English and then spent 8 months in South America, which I looooved.

I love the mountains (like the Goralka that I am) and all things nature.

I can be quite talkative but I do prefer if the other person is more talkative :D I'm sure we'd manage somehow anyway (by the way I swear like a trucker, just a bit of a heads up :D)

I know that 'easygoing' is probably the most overused adjective on CS, but I really am pretty f*cking easygoing BUT! don't confuse CS with Tinder, people!

Here are some equations about me which you mind find helpful:

Parks>cafes>bars>clubs

Fruit>cake

Good tea/coffee > alcohol

Weed> alcohol (although not a big fan of either these days)

PLEASE READ THE 'my home' SECTION CAREFULLY! :) so you can tell me in your request if you're happy with the arrangements. Thanks!

APHILOSOPHY
Go love yourself (and go vegan ;) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy coming across gems of people.

Interests

Altered states of consciousness.

I love languages and have fun learning them.

I love Ashtanga.

I'm interested in healthy living and I'm a bit particular about what I eat, so while I appreciate people's willingness to cook for me when staying over, I'd much rather cook for you 😜 you can buy me a coffee 😉

I spend a lot of time at the gym and I try to get out into nature as much as possible. I love an adventure! 😊

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Old gangster films (Al Pacino is a lagend!)The first two Godfather films , Quentin Tarrantino and Christopher Nolan films. Rick and Morty, Curb your enthusiasm, Peep Show, The Sopranos.

Music: pretty much anything that's not r&b or jazz but my absolute favourites are Bjork, Bonobo, fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks is a legend!), katarzyna Nosowska (an AMAZING polish artist), massive attack, aurora.

Books: La Sombra del viento, Mi pais inventado, Watching the English, The God Delusion, Mortality, To kill a mocking bird, a little life

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything I do is pretty amazing ;)

Ayahuasca.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure I can teach you anything... Maybe some basic ashtanga yoga asanas. I'm keen to learn stuff and we can share food :D I love picnics!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think the best things we can share are STORIES :D lets just talk! Or not :) whatever feels comfortable
