Overview
About Me
I'm 22 and a student at the University of Glasgow. My room is really small so I am happy to let people stay if they are desperate but I have little to offer.
I am reasonably sociable and quite an interesting person if I may say so myself. I love writing, reading, drawing and photography.
Life perspective:
My motto is currently 'you can do anything you want to in this life' and it's true and gets me out of bed. Enjoy life and try not to hurt others along the way and things will work out in the end.
Food:
I'm a strict vegetarian but people can eat meat around me. Message me if you fancy a coffee or cup of tea as I drink a lot of both ;)
I like keeping up with what is going on and having a busy social life so message me if you are bored/lonely/want something to do with new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and understanding a place better due to knowing people. Looking for friends across the world who will then be very welcome to stay when I'm settled back in the UK, preferably with a home. I also love showing people my favourite places. I love hearing stories, especially travel stories, and people from different countries who like to travel are generally far more interesting and sociable than friends back home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
I'm a massive reader. I'm going to study English Literature for the next 4 years after dropping out of studying Geography because I love books so much. I'm love fantasy, grew up on Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Favourite book: Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake.
Music:
I have one of the widest ranges of music of anyone I know. I like indie, rock, classical, jazz, swing, folk etc. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are The National, Ben Howard, Belle and Sebastian, The Killers and Frank Turner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got stranded on a beach in Thailand. It was the only beach on the island without road access and would involve a 3 hr trek to get off. I was in my swimming costume with no shoes, phone, money.
The amazing thing was that I didn't really panic
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure. I'm sure we'll work out something. I'm not really one for taking and not giving in return. At the very least, I'll clean up after myself.
I like kids so I can babysit/keep them entertained/teach them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
English speaking practice
Good conversation
A fun time
My cooking skills are not great so I won't offer to cook but I can help in the kitchen
Photos and travel stories
Kindness and being a good and considerate houseguest. I always clean up after myself and normally other people as well!
