ABOUT ME

(made this in 2011. Read below for update) I am full of life and enjoy the little things. I am very simple. I live with just a bedroom worth of stuff that could easily be given away at a moments notice. My true valuables can all fit into a backpack. I am a vagabond at heart. I am currently in Houston, TX pursuing my career. The only reason for this is the income which I will then use to do what I am truly passionate about - economics/forcasting. Then, I want to travel the world while working the markets from my laptop. That is my dream and soon I will be working for it.

I like keeping my old writings for future reference. Makes me smile when I have actually accomplished my previously written goals. Since then, I have quit working IT for oil companies. I sold everything and road tripped from Houston to Tennessee, then up to Winnipeg and last but not least over to Calgary, Alberta. We then stayed there for six months and enjoyed the Rockies. Now our travels take us to Hawaii where we are buying a boat and renting a cottage on Molokai to grow our own food and learn about permaculture. I am also wanting to start up a solar company here where I build my own solar panels, etc. We will see how that goes. In a year or so I will write another "about you" with the status update of it, haha... My fiance and I are healthy, active individuals who enjoy the outdoors. We own laptops but not TVs or anything like that. We enjoy staying connected with the world but experiencing it is the best. All in all, we are two awesome multiskilled musicians who enjoy interesting company. We do not like having many possessions and our "true" home is with each other. Doesnt really matter where we are in the world, it's what we make of it together. Mahalo! :)

Man how things have changed! We are now married, living in Canada, recording our first album as a musical duet and have started our own business. Things are really rolling and hopefully will include tons of travel! We are already booking events for our tour as musicians, so there is some fun travel already!

Emily and I are traveling like crazy. We are just now settling into a small cottage on Molokai in Hawaii. We hope to be hosting soon!

Life is beautiful. We married, went back to Canada, recorded our music, and will be traveling once again very soon. Look forward to us hitting up coaches again soon and better yet hosting people! :)

Best movie that is on a true story - The world's fastest indian. The worst movie based on a true story - The pursuit of happiness (it is WAY off... the real guy is a loser... I was so angry).
