Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Back in the States. Had to return before we really got a chance to travel Africa. Hope to get to go back someday.

ABOUT ME

We're fun and experienced travelers... Our experiences have taken us all over the United States... Now we are going to expand our experiences to include international travel...

Here in the States, we hitchhike mostly, but are interested in train hopping... We have also rubber tramped quite a bit...

We like punk and metal music... We are interested in primitive lifestyles and practice primitive techniques in our everyday life... We are both blacksmiths... We have experience with squatting and communal living...

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to find a way to travel and rewild.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We'll soon be ready to host people in Asheville NC, so check back soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Turtle) used to have a place in West Virginia, and I hosted several surfers... Most, however, were local kids, but that's only because not many people travel through WV... Both of us have also been surfers on a couple of occasions... In Arizona and in SLC Utah...

Intereses

Primitive lifestyles and cultures, primitive skills, DIY, herbal foods and medicines, mycology, freegan, body modification, squatting and traveling and the culture included with, activism for and against many things, learning new languages, currently Spanish and Portuguese (but want to learn German, French, Danish, and Dutch), we read a lot of books too, martial arts, train hopping, bicycles, etc.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Watching the whales out to sea in northern California with the redwood forest to our backs.

Watching wild camels roam free where the Sahara meets the Atlantic. It's the edge of the world, where the sea and the sand meet under the sky. It made us cry it was so humbling and wild.

Squatting is Holland was a hoot. Squatting in Gent was even better. Squatting in France was another great time. Squatting in Spain was another great time.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

We can teach martial arts and primitive skills...

We want to learn anything and everything...
