Hello dear traveler! Welcome to my profile!

I took quite a long break from Couchsurfing so my response rate has tanked, but I’m back now!

I would say my biggest hobby is finding new hobbies. There is so much to experience and explore in this universe and in this life and there are so many people and beings to share it with, that's just insane. It's mind-blowing to me that we can connect with someone who grew up 10,000km away, yet we know exactly what the other person is talking about and can often feel how they are feeling. Or maybe it's not so crazy, we are human after all.

I often find other people to be very inspiring, and meeting those people is why I'm on couchsurfing.

That being said, as much as I love meeting new people, I am also very good at filling my calendar up to the brink. This often does not leave me with a lot of time to travel or to hang out, but if you find yourself in need of some help or a place to stay, just shoot me a text I'll see what I can do!

I'm a curious individual who likes finding new perspectives and who likes to learn something new every day. Meeting other people is my favorite way to do that. I love to share, connect, and inspire.

There are that I've met through couchsurfing that I would've never met or even approached otherwise, and we became lifelong friends after a single meetup. The community and people here are just amazing, that's why I'm here.

Interessi

As one of my favorite hobbies is finding new hobbies, I've picked up quite a few over the past few years. I really enjoy learning new languages, and then traveling to places to use that language (this is also why Russian is on my profile, I don't support the Russian government and mainly use it to go hike around Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan etc.), I really enjoy dancing (Bachata, Zouk), and using my engineering skills in small little projects around my apartment.

Musica, film e libri

Music - everything from opera, to classical, electronic, rap and edm, oh and don't forget about death metal! And Bachata music is great to dance to! Anything, really.

Movies - anything as well, the IMDB top 250 is a nice list to source for sure. Other notable mentions include Bollywood 'classics' such as k3g, kkhh, ddlj, khnh, but also sholay etc. And anything from Gaspar Noé. I rarely watch movies. Nowadays I read a lot more. Nontheless I do enjoy it sometimes.

Books - fantasy series are my kryptonite with my favorite author at the moment being Brandon Sanderson. Other than that I love reading things related to psychology and spirituality. Some authors you'll find in my collection are Bill Plotkin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Jordan, Pete Walker, Eliezer Yudkowsky, Mark Manson, Patrick Rothfuss, Yuval Harari, Tolkien, and Steven Pinker.

Ran a half marathon on a random Monday morning
Went on an improvised 4-month road trip around Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
Went on a solo trip to India with the only plan I had being the flight back some weeks later
Not die yet
