I grew up loving the outdoors and continue to spend as much time as possible hiking and travelling. I'm also a techie and gamer, and a musician too if that isn't diverse enough for you. I tend to be a bit introverted, so I'm using this as a way to get a bit outside my comfort zone and meet new people. In the time that I've been couchsurfing (several years now) I've met a ton of incredible people and had so many positive experiences, I can barely count them anymore.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
My cousin got me interested in this idea, and it seems like a great way to meet new people and make new friends while travelling and at home. As i've spent more and more time hosting and travelling, I wouldn't travel any other way at this point, its a very rewarding way to meet people, make friends and experience other countries fully!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Metal, Swing, Jazz, Country; you name it, I probably enjoy it. Movies: everything but horror, I'm a big baby. Books: lots of sci-fi and fantasy (I have to live a few stereotypes).
