ABOUT ME

I'm a cheerful, fun loving bloke who doesn't let life's hardships get him down but can turn (almost) any misfortune on its head and see the silver lining. I try to be a gentleman (there's too few of us left) and treat everyone with the respect they deserve. I'm starting a lifetime of travel, which will end as and where it will.

PHILOSOPHY

My life's goals are to learn as much pointless trivia and silly facts as I can, and share them with people who often don't care nearly as much as I do. The most fun way to do this is travel, which (I'm sure you agree) is one of the best things about being alive. Much as there are many things in the world I'd like to see change, I love that we have never been closer to each other all over the world, and can go and see things our ancestors could never dream of. I have, generally speaking, the overall out-look of a hippy, though without the blind faith that things WILL just happen. We have to make them happen, but when we start there's nothing that can hold us back.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Finally able to offer a couch for the first time, but I've met and stayed with some great people through CS, and it's been a great help getting settled when moving house around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meeting a stranger in Retiro park, spending a few days with her and leaving as good friends. The essence of travel, two strangers with shared interests in a new place. Cheers Isa!
Since then CS has helped me settle in to new countries, travel around in a much more enjoyable way and meet great people.

Interests

Learning, laughing, talking rubbish, seeing and trying new things, and eating. I love good food.

As said before, I love everything trivial. If its pointless and not worth knowing, tell me about it! If its of practical use and can better my life, and other peoples, then show me it and make sure I can copy and understand it so I can pass it on.
