Welcome you all!
My name is Lorenzo Testa, year 1982. Born in Northern side of Italy. I spent my youth between the countryside of Busto Arsizio (VA) and the lovely mountains of Val D’Ossola.

Musician since I was a kid, traveller and photographer since I was a teenager; geek for curiosity, graphic designer for necessity, web developer for a living. My personal website, a sort of photographic portfolio, is available here: www.lorenzotesta.com

My passion for music brought me to learn the magical profession of sound engineering, both in live and studio situations. Nowadays, I’m pulling knobs and moving faders in my own professional recording studio located in Busto Arsizio, VA (Italy), but I also collaborate with Albero Musicale Recording Studio, based in Saronno, VA (Italy).

I like to travel all over the world, but I have a special passion for Ireland, where I've spent a lot of my time in my life, learning music & culture, finding really good friends. I play tenor banjo and I studied Irish music with some of the best musicians of Ireland.
With my folk/rock band Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards I'm often touring Europe, so I try to be active on Couchsurfing but unfortunately it's quite hard to host people. Anyway my lovely girlfriend is at home so you can search for her profile and she'll be happy to help yous if possible! :)

I love travelling in a different way, well far from tourism paths, so I'll be glad to help travellers like me!

Irish Traditional Music, Lunasa, Christy Moore, Luke Kelly, Altan, etc... but also country music, americana, bluegrass, rock & punk rock... I simply love good music; love playing it and listening to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Busking England, Wales, Ireland... Travelling by bike (the Paris-Roubaix experience was a real hell!!), hiking the lovely Alps mountains, visiting crazy places like Aral Sea and deserts all across the world...

Music is my main competence... Italian but also European folk & roots music. Playing it, knowing it. But I also can share my photographic know-how with youse and help you in doing good shots of your travel! :)
