I am from Avdeevka, small town near Donetsk. I have a Master degree in International Economy and worked according to specialty 2 years in Donetsk. Two years already I have been living in Kiev. After moving to Kiev I dived into IT ocean and now running my own IT company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Luxurious hotels will never create a real country spirit, I believe. They are perfect to restore powers when you are exhausted basking under the sun by the pool and it is enough for you to find harmony.

However, it is vice versa when you want to explore the country and want to feel the life and traditions. Here Couchsurfing comes! It is all about hospitality. It reveals human kindness and tolerance. Experience of living in someone's place somewhere far away from your home in a foreign culture is priceless.

Couchsurfing is also about support and trust. It is important to know, that there is someone abroad, who can help and guide you abroad in critical situation.

I love excepting guests, cooking traditional meals, advising best places to visit and making sure, that people will leave Ukraine with happy memories about the country.

Interests

I love baking. Cakes, pies etc. is my passion) Roman is a perfect borch (Ukrainian traditional meal) cooker!
To find harmony of body and mind I attend yoga classes and swimming pool. It helps to relax after a working day.
Me and Roman also are experts in walking, in Kiev in particular :) We love to explore new places and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My playlist, to tell the truth, consist of hits 'Disco 90th' =)
I am a fan of touching movies and good romantic comedies. IMHO, Edrien Broudi and Robert De Niro are excellent actors.
I didn't read lots and lots of books when I was a child and now I'm making up for it. Prefer classics (Anna Karenina, stories by Anton Chekhov etc.), books written by Stefan Zweig, Erich Maria Remarque's.
