About Me

Raised and born in Lombardia, I live 20 min near Milano.
Ironical, a little smart, unconventional.
I'm a teacher in a school in Milano.
In free times like to practice photography, especially outdoor/landscapes, and hiking/trekking and so on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to explore :)
Explore what? Wilderness, wild places, and other cultures..
Recent update : Iran in spring 2018
5 days to get in touch with culture and people of a country that really seems to be wonderful...

Interests

Technical and scientific cultural background and education, but for many years very interested in humanities, literature, arts, philosophy and so on.

As deep as possible exploring - and living - the italian wilderness. From September I'm looking for (new, almost unknown) wild areas in northern and central Italy to explore during week-ends and holidays.
Actually learning to build temporary wood huts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since a couple of years ago very interested in cinema, mainly the works of great masters such as Herzog, Lynch, Antonioni, Fellini, Kurosawa, Truffaut, Tarkovsky, and so on...
Now I like a lot Wes Anderson :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Had lots of odd experiences in the mountains, getting lost, crossing some very step passes in the crappiest conditions ever (deep snow, snow blizzard, hard rain, hard wind, by night, etc).
Sleeping almost everywhere in the woods, with tent, in abandoned mountain huts ("baite"), on the ground, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

In AUGUST 2017 I had a wonderful KYRGYZSTAN tour ; now I would like to learn more about Kyrgyz (and Central Asia in general) culture, language and lifestyle.
Can teach some tip about outdoor activities :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tons of (true) stories. Some good (I hope) photos of the places I will visite thanks to their hospitality.

Armenia, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden
