CURRENT MISSION See Montana and finish my novel ABOUT ME I'm a city kid through and through but I've spent the last couple of weeks staying at my uncle's cabin in Sula enjoying the isolation and trying to finish a book I've been working on since I returned from Iraq in 2007 - The one good thing I can say about it so far is that it's not a war memoir, which is a genre that bores me but seems to be the only kind of work people want to read from soldiers, even marginal ones like myself. I like books by dead Russians, and music by dead black men, gypsys, and half mad Argentines playing the nueva tango.
