Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For the same reason why I love hitchhiking more than any other way of moving around - when travelling I consider it a big part of it all to meet local people, to get a glimpse of the culture from a personal perspective, to share what we care for, how we see the world and what is important. Simply - it's an attempt to experience the country as authentically as possible. And as a bonus, usually it comes with a lot of new friends and beautiful connections. :)
