About Me

I believe that you learn the most about yourself and the world by going out and actively seeking out new experiences. I love adventuring and creating memories that are filled with laughter. I am from BC and am currently moving about the east coast of Canada to see what our lovely country has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me couch surfing is a community filled with good vibes. I love when people come together with mutual good intentions to form new experiences :) It is really special to have a local show you their home from their perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music that is sung together - guitar, spoons, kazoo, didgeridoo whatever your fancy ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed a mountain in the middle of the desert in the Outback of Australia in the dead of night (6 hour return hike), stumbling along at 2 a.m half asleep, in order to reach the summit for sunrise.

When the sun broke over the crest it was a site to behold.. but so were all of the 1000 foot drop offs that i had been walking two feet away from the whole time without even knowing they were there!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that the world is our teacher and every day life presents us with incredible lessons to be learned. Everyone comes from a different background and by sharing our stories we can get glimpses into another's wisdom.

For me, as an environmental educator, the best teaching occurs when you go for a walk in the forest and just take a moment to be quiet - reflecting on the diversity and life around you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a good listener. Tell me your story, passion, ideas and i would love to listen. There may even be small tidbits of insight i can lend in return.

I have a passion for understanding how the natural world works and a degree in this field to add some context. Water systems, soil types, plant identification, animal behaviour... if your interested I have much to share.

I like to cook - if you happen to be an aspiring chef looking for a disciple teach me your ways and i will gladly learn :)
