My name is Valeriy and travelling is my biggest passion.
Hitchhiking is my favorite method of travelling because it gives much more experience than any other way to travel. I love learning country through speaking with ordinary people that live here, they always tell you much more interesting stories from real life, not like educated guide which guides you only through most popular places telling you encyclopedic things that you never remember.

I'm not a big fan of cities but I really love mountains. Long distance hiking through epic views with favorite music in my player is like meditation for me, it's the biggest source of inspiration. I'm looking for it all the time, bacause it's the most important thing in my work.

I'm 2d artist on games. Making epic sci-fi and fantasy worlds is my profession. Finding ideas for my illustrations is another big reason why I love to travel so much.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because here I can find very interesting open-minded people, learn something new from them how they live, think, work, rest, dream... Love to share with stories to each other. Bacause we are so different that brings much more colors to life knowing each other.

I only beginner on couchsurfing but I'm very open for guests.
Will be glad to show you Lviv, the most beautiful city in my coutry.
Also will be glad to guide you through ukrainian Carpathians if you love hiking with tent as strong as I am.

I go in for parkour/freerunning, workout about than 10 years. Love to chellenge my body. Last couple years I also started practicing yoga.
I really respect sports people that care about their health and love to train together. It's very good way to grow and develop new skills.

There's a lot of other passions like landscape photo, video-editing, computer action games, metaphisics, transerfing.
But most interesting is meeting you guys, sharing our best stories and experiences with each other.
