ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Germany I am now living in the beautiful heart of England with my boyfriend. I am studying european history while trying to travel and see as much of the World as possible 🌍

I love short Trips with my Partner, but my big passion is solo travelling and backpacking, where I mostly stay in hostels to meet and connect with amazing people from all over the world. Now trying CS to get closer to local life and to encourage cultural interchange, since you never know who you meet and what you can learn along the way ❤️

I love trying New cuisines wherever I am, with a particular liking to spicy food 🍛 I also really enjoy exploring local historical places and buildings, Museums and places of cultural interest so I can learn more about the area I'm visiting. 🏰

My goal for the next years is to travel to at least 5 new countries every year (and more if I can) with a particular interest in South and Central America.🌎

Mostly reading Historical Fiction, Fantasy, but also Autobiographies and History books. I love most Music depending on current mood, so it is constantly changing. Don’t watch a lot of TV but if I do its mainly the same interest as with my books and I do enjoy a good series on netflix. Love going to the movies once in a while🎬

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

▪️Crossing from Ecuador to Peru via a remote Land Border at the end of raining season, Just me with very limited Spanish and a bunch of locals. Cars couldn't go so we had to make our own way on foot through massive mudslides and kms of dirt roads

▪️Getting lost on several hikes in Ecuador; around Quilotoa lagoon at 3900m altitude where I ended up on a 4hr trek down to the next village with 2 canadian girls after being chased (and almost bitten) by a bunch of stray dogs; also accidentally got secluded from my group on a hike through a river bed during heavy rain and approaching dusk- luckily they noticed and found me before darkness set.

▪️Roadtrip from Tampa, FL to New Orleans, LA and back, exploring the rural areas of the South. Camping at a remote Campground in the Woods in North Florida, just my boyfriend & me with a bonfire and the wilderness surrounding us

▪️The best thing I've experienced on All my travels is the kindness of other people when they realize you're in a foreign Environment and struggle, and they go above and beyond to help you, most of the time not even speaking the same language. There is so much good in this World that we should be embracing ❤️
