About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After different situations, travels, experiences some of them happy, some of them not as much, some losses and some wins, I decided this year, my first mission is to explore myself, get to know my shadows and lights more in deep and make an effort to understand myself and others, without judging, through love and compassion. Learn different ways to see life, different perspectives. Nurture me and the world from different points of view. I believe a mindful and conscious living in harmony with the earth and other human beings is very important to achieve balance and gratefulness.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Colombian, living in Medellin currently but craving to see the world and get to know other mindsets. I change my hair every 2 o 3 months haha I find it a way of rejuvenating myself, bringing new vibes and energies to my life and remembering constant change is important. I studied international business but my true passions are Art as in photography, music ( singing and playing a bit of guitar), dancing ( specially latin rythms. Very good at Salsa and can teach some steps :) )
I've also started to explore mindfulness, pshychology to try to understand myself and others better and have an harmonious life. I'm very into eco-living and trying to be vegetarian ( I still eat fish but making my effort) although I'm not fundamentalist and understand and accept other ways of life and thinking :)
I can teach you about the things that I know, from languages ( English, Spanish, French) to music ( varied taste) dancing, SEO ( Digital marketing skills) and even photography or some buddhist psychology principles if you're into it. Other than that, we can always chat about almost anything, movies, series, travel experiences and whatever you feel like sharing :)
PHILOSOPHY
La alegría es libertad de movimiento sin interrupción. Es saber que creas la vida a tu manera
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I havent been able to host anyone in my hometown, I've met couchsurfers to go for a drink and also have stayed in different places, in China, Thailand, France and Hong Kong. The experience has been amazing. I've been able to get to meet different type of people, know their stories, their way of seeing life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had several couchsurfing experiences and they have been amazing. The first one was in 2011 when I was in France one couchsurfer from Toulouse hosted my friend and me, he showed us the city he told us also the most interesting places to visit and he even showed us pictures of all his couchsurfing experiences around the world. It was a very good experience.
I also stayed with some very nice Chilean guy for one night in Bangkok. He hosted my friend and I, he helped us giving us tips on how to move in Thailand and we have very nice talks.
The last one was in October 2013 In Chengdu China, one greaat couchsurfer hosted my boyfriend and me, he showed us the city, we had very nice talks with him, about culture, life there, tradition, very open to discussing any topic. it was a fun time and we enjoyed a lot!!
Interests
In my free time, I like to discover new places and register them with my camera, I love music, salsa dancing and meeting new people. I'm into an eco-sustainable way of living, vegetarianism, and awareness of self and the world. I'm exploring Buddhist psychology as a way of living more fully and mindful.
among other interests I have, there's psychology, art, meditation.
I also love to travel, helping people is also one of my interests and reading books to wake up the mind.
Also last but not least, traveling enriches me, and I love it! is so addictive, is so great, gives you colours, happiness so that is my mission and it will be until life allows me to do it.
