About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A satisfied mind

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people and cultures. I recently graduated from School of Medicine, University of Zagreb. Besides, I'm musically educated and music is my great passion.

Digging deeper into my personality, I find myself imaginative, compassionate, adaptable and accepting. I like to party and have fun, but I also appreciate a sincere conversation about other people's philosophy and worldview. I'm quite intuitive and trust my gut feelings (because my hunches are usually correct).

I'm not conservative so don't be afraid to talk about unconventional or strange things or tell me odd jokes! :D At first I might be a bit reserved, but once I get comfortable, get ready to have a blast!

PHILOSOPHY

Well, although it sounds like a cliche, I try to be a better person with every passing day and I want to keep improoving. Every experience and every person that I can learn something from is most welcome in my life!

I believe in the existence of a supreme spiritual being, some kind of higher power, vital energy or essence - whatever you want to call it - that bonds all existing things and beings in the universe. What I don't truly believe in is a "human's organisation of God" like church or any other. I don't care for their restrictions and visions that they hypocritically force upon people. Freedom & love, that's essential (being free from dogmas aswell).

"We must live, we must love, and we must believe that we live not only today on this scrap of earth, but have lived and shall live forever, there, in the Whole."
from War and Piece by L. N. Tolstoy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I'm not able to offer my couch.

Anyway, if you're willing, ask me to show you around, go for a coffee, grab a beer, take a walk, do something (stupid) together... I'll be more than happy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some interesting people and made some new friends.

Interests

I'm curious like a cat (though I know... curiosity killed a cat) and therefore I have points of interest in many fields.

Of course, I like traveling, getting to know people and their cultures, degustating local food etc. If it wasn't so, I wouldn't be here.

Music has always played important role in my life. Besides grammar school, I graduated from music highschool too, but now I don't really have time to get seriously involved in it because of my studies.

I appreciate quality conversation and communication above all. I like to share opinions, get to know what other people think about all kinds of issues (from everyday life topics to philosophy and metaphysics discussions). Regarding that, I'm not fond of places with loud music, because it's a challenge to talk there. But that should not discourage anyone to take me to a club, if that's what you prefer.

In my free time I like to grab a beer with friends, relax while reading a book or reconcile with nature by taking long walks. I like animals and pets, I have a golden retriever, a persian cat and a goldfish.

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about humanitary work and would like to go volunteer in Africa.
