Hi! I’m Enrique, originally from Mexico 🇲🇽. I’m an international relations graduate and language teacher, passionate about cultures, languages, and meaningful human connections. I would describe myself as a calm and easygoing person. I enjoy both good conversations and quiet moments. I’m not a party person all the time, but if you invite me, I’m always open to go out and enjoy for a while. I love simple things like walking around cities, visiting museums, having hot chocolate, and sharing music or movies that I love. For me, traveling is not just about places, but about the people you meet along the way.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I truly believe that the best part of traveling is the people you meet. Some of the most meaningful friendships in my life started while traveling, and even strangers have helped me in ways that changed how I see the world. That’s why I want to experience Couchsurfing now—especially as I start a new chapter in Europe. I’d love to explore cities through the eyes of locals, hear your stories, and create genuine connections.
Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is quite international. I really enjoy Italian and French music, but I’m open to many genres depending on the mood. I love sharing music with others and discovering new artists. For movies, I enjoy films that make me think or feel something—especially those connected to culture, identity, or human stories. I also like reading, especially when it helps me understand different perspectives or cultures better.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had was living in Italy as a volunteer, sharing a house with people from different countries. We didn’t know each other at the beginning, but we ended up creating strong bonds and unforgettable memories. That experience changed the way I see the world and made me value cultural exchange on a deeper level.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share my culture, my language, and my perspective as someone who truly enjoys connecting with people. I’m happy to cook something simple, help around the house, or just spend time talking and exchanging stories. I believe small moments—like a conversation, a walk, or a shared meal—can become the best part of a trip.
My Interests
I’m really interested in culture, languages, and human connections. I enjoy discovering new places by walking, visiting museums, and observing everyday life in different cities. I also love music, cinema, and meaningful conversations. I’m the kind of person who enjoys both a deep talk and a simple moment like having a hot chocolate or listening to a good song.
