About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lose myself

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going, 30+, open minded travel addict.

I enjoy to meet new people and cultures, I have a traveller (not a tourist) attitude. I love stepping out of my comfort zone, being faced with new challenges and different ways of living.

I'm not very comfortable with narrow-minded people.

PHILOSOPHY

This is not the right place to talk about philosophy. The right place is at a table, in person, and with a glass of wine.
However, I'm a kind of fatalist. Shit happens, so you better deal with it. Good things happen too, so you better be grateful, and don't take them for granted. Life is one, so you better live it in a way you'll be satisfied with, and that will leave you with no so many regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been both hosting and surfing, and had very good experiences every time :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great time always!

Interests

Traveling! and listening to music, reading and writing, getting in touch with other cultures and learning new languages, exploring cuisine and cooking, good wines, hanging out, getting in contact with nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read books like normal people breathe, so it would take me too much space to speak about the books I love :)

I listen to lots of music, except for stuff like techno, house, and MTV pop, which doesn't even sound as music to my ears :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Placed my tent in front of the Pacific ocean, in Chile.

Looked right in the eyes of giant stones faces in Bayon temple, Angkor, Cambodia.

Climbed down a cliff bare hands and feet, to go see Goa Langse, in Parangtritis, Indonesia.

Slept under a bright Milky Way in the Thar desert, Rajasthan, to be awakened in the middle of the night by a huge full moon that was shining like never before.

Walked some two hundred kilometers in the Nepali Himalaya, until my feet bleed, and reached 5500 meters from sea level.

Got blessed by a worshipper of the bloody Kali. Probably got married too, in same occasion, but I'll never know for sure :)

Climbed a rice paddies mountains in the Philippines to go get a tattoo from a 96 old lady from a head hunters tribe.

Survived some other shit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to learn from everybody, everyday. That actually works!

I share what I can.
