ABOUT ME

I am positive person full of energy, ready for any adventure that might come up. I enjoy running and the feeling of movement and I am happy to join any jam as a pianist, bad-ukulelist or just a singer who wants to shout the happiness to the world. I am always happy to meet new people, overcome new obstacles and gain new skills, but at the same time I can enjoy my time with a book in a hand. I like to challenge myself physically and psychically. I can enjoy long discussions about meaning of life and politics as much as I enjoy being outside swimming, running, cycling or trying new sports.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody can teach you something new. Everybody is a person who deserve respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing, because we have several free rooms and recently they started to complain, that they are not being used, so I am trying to do them a service by advertising the possibility of free place where to sleep. Obviously I would like to talk with my guests, because I believe they are to be interesting people, but even if you are in the stage of life when you prefer to be silent rather than talkative, don't hesitate to contact me. See you at my place!

Music, Movies, and Books

If I would pick my favorite book, it would be Karamazov (By Dostojvskij). I am very entertained by science-fiction and fantasy: I love everything by Tolkien and when we are mentioning fantasy I should also mention C.Funkey and fantastic Daniel Handler. (Daniel Handler alias Lemony Snicket wrote the Series of Unfortunate events, something as crazy as ghotic novel for kid!!) Being a physicistI have a weakness for books written by Richard Feynman, probably the only person who can explain physics not only to my grandma, but also to me, so that I understand at the first reading :)

My favorite music list would be infinite, I guess, but I should probably mention Ray Charles, Imagine Dragons, Ferenz Liszt and I absolutely love soundtrack from Lord of the Rings by Howard Shore. And two steps from hell of course, long live Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fell from the balcony into the dustbin.
I was working on a boat.
I build a model of an ion trap.
I programmed a robot that would follow a straight line.
I wrote a musical.
I staeyd in Bahama's in the same residence as Sean Connery.
I run 130 km with 3000 m elevation.
I swam in a lake in Prague in the middle of February.
I build my own neutron detector and published a paper about that.
I sang in Game of Thrones choir in Copenhagen arena in front of 6000 people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach piano (I am technically a piano teacher, it is just convenience I became a physisist :D).
I can also teach you very basics of ukulele and bit of opera singing :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

With my hosts I can share amazing stories that have been surrounding me all my life. I am up for any suggestion of fun things to do, I am happy to show them my surroundings or just offer a glass of wine. Don't hesitate and come!
