Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have lived in Bangalore for more than 15 years. I cannot host guests at the moment. But I can surely drive you around and show you the beauty of this city from my perspective.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: If I had to name a few, it would be Buddha Bar, Indian Ocean, Radiohead, Buckethead and Opeth. I do not have a particular preference for music, I have favorites from almost every genre of music. Movies: Ice Age, Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 smoking Barrels, 500 days of Summer, Happy Days, Anand, Godavari, and A Wednesday. Books: Although I am not much of an avid reader, I am making a conscious effort to cultivate a reading habit.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
During my undergraduate years, I along with my friends ventured into the Arabian sea in a fishing boat. We were accompanied by local fishermen. We spend the night in the sea looking for a suitable fishing spot. Early in the morning, we enjoyed a sumptuous brunch with different varieties of fish on the boat. This experience stands out because it gave us a sneak peek into the daily lives of the fishermen in Mangalore.
