Also my CS profile is quite new and sadly still very empty, I´ve been experiencing CS for a couple of years now on many great trips through europe with my best friend Cathy who always managed to find a couch and a nice welcoming place for us two...recently I thought it was time to get my own profile running and "stand on my own feet" ;)...thanks to everyone who hosted me despite the few references :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just great couchsurfing memories! No matter which country I went to, i always felt welcomed to their homes and enjoyed it so much sharing stories and getting to know their city...

Interests

All kind of sports like skiing, skating, horseback riding, swimming, sailing and hiking. Especially during the winter you can often find me in the mountains or somewhere outdoor, enjoying the snow and doing some kind of sport.This year we also spent some days in the Alps during the summer and went hiking for several days, which was quite exhausting but also a great deal of fun and excitement. Also I´m quite busy with my horses, training them for a hunt with a fast ride over the fields.
I love to get around and visit new places, countries and pick up a few new words of foreign languages.

many many books...especially those from Rebecca Gable, Ken Follett, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Sarah Lark, Stig Larsson, Jussi Adler Olsen,...
Music varies all the way from Rock over Oldies and Alternative...actually everything which makes you feel good and allows you to sing along :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing which always amazes me again and again is the "last-human-on-earth" feeling I get when I´m somewhere high up in the Alps on a trail with countless mountain peaks around, already a couple hours on the feet, the weather capable to change any minute and no civilization anywhere. This may sound funny but then I feel like a big adventurer :)
Last year I´ve been already traveling a couple of days in Italy with my best friend and one night we found ourselves at a the coast of the Cinque Terre close to midnight, with no idea where to sleep. Therefore we decided to spend the night on a coast trail. This was one of the most beautiful nights I´ve ever experienced, sleeping outside a couple hundred feet over the sea, the water crashing against the cliffs and the stars and moon from above!
Another very adventurous trip was when we traveled through the USA with the Greyhoundbus. Although the 42h trip to Key West was almost over the top ;)
And least but not last: horseback riding in Ireland, jumping crazy jumps along with the crowd in full speed always gives me a big kick of adrenalin :)
