Hola! I'm Verónica, currently living in Dublin, Ireland. I have an easy-going personality, I'm a lover of the outdoor life and of good food. I like to hike and do any outdoorsy sports, such as bicycling, fishing, skiing, kayaking, etc. I work as a seasonal/nomad chef so I move every 6 months between Patagonia and Europe.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing in NZ and so far has been amazing experiences. It's a great tool to meet new people and other cultures, share a good time and get to know the place through the host's eyes. I don’t like using CS as just an accommodation app, I like connecting with people. It’s all about the community.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a soft spot for 90’s movies
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- I skied from the summit of the highest volcano on the north island of NZ. - I've worked for 10 years in Chilean Patagonia, in several fly-fishing lodges and conservation programs. - I thru hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail, 4265 kms in 5 months. I also did the Camino in Spain (del Norte, Primitivo and Portugués), around 1200 kms in one go. I mean, why would you take an 2-3 hour plane if you can just walk there, right?
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking, and anything that involves working with my hands… gardening, pottery, painting, embroidery, etc. I specialise in fermented/preserved food, so if you want to learn anything about sourdough, kombucha, kraut, pickles, smoked/cured meats, etc etc., I can give you some tips :) Also, I know a LOT about travelling and living in Patagonia. If you’re thinking about going there feel free to ask about it.
What I Can Share With Hosts
