I'm currently a university student in New York, studying economics and anthropology - with a concentration in economic development policy. I am living in Paris for the summer for an internship that ends mid July, so I am looking to take advantage of being in Europe and do some traveling after that. I'm looking to use couchsurfer for my travels (I will mostly be staying in France/Switzerland) during August so that I can meet new people and hopefully have some interesting conversations! I've been learning French for quite a few years now, though it is not at all perfect- so I'd love to have someone to practice my conversation skills with.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I grew up with very little resources in a family that didn't really understand other cultures and hadn't really been out of the U.S. When I was younger I promised myself that I would get out and travel, learn, meet new people, and try to see what it's like to live in different ways- and so far I've been lucky enough to travel and do exactly that. I think couchsurfing provides an excellent opportunity to meet people and to be able to see life through a different lense- and also to learn, whether it be language, culture, history, or something else!

Interessen

I horseback ride for the equestrian team at my university, so if you know of any horses near by and want to go for a ride, I can show you the ropes! I'm also a classical violist by training, so I love classical music, going to concerts and operas - and art exhibitions, love those! Aside from that, I love listening to the stories people have to tell, and sharing my own.
