About Me

Ciao!

I’m an outgoing person with a sunny disposition and a big sense of adventure.

Professionally, I work as a Communications Manager for an environmental non-profit based in the Bay Area. I work hybrid these days, but for a while I was a digital nomad, living in different cities and working around the world.

I also have my own marketing consulting business on the side, so needless to say I like to keep busy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the community and how incredible some of my trips have been because of people I’ve met through it. I think you learn so much more and feel like a local when you Couchsurf. I also enjoy seeing the less touristy things and getting a more authentic, local experience of what a place is like.

Interests

I like to do things outside of my comfort zone and value experiences that can become great stories down the line.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely love anything Indie and chill, but depending on my mood enjoy faster-paced rock or punk like The Frights and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. 70-90s music is awesome too. And I’ve gone to a couple raves / edm concerts so uhh my music taste is all over the place.

I’m a big fan of movies and my favorite genres are superhero, syfy, and action adventure.

Reading! It's a hobby I've loved since I was a kid and I've recently been reconnecting with that. Mostly fiction, fantasy, and spicy YA novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two weeks backpacking over 200 miles through the John Muir trail in California. One of the most difficult yet rewarding things I’ve ever done

I stayed awake for 48 hours at the Fiesta de San Fermin - Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain , and consumed an inhuman amount of Sangria

I lived in Paraguay for two months with a host family doing community development and cultural exchange work. I spoke only spanish and the native language (Guarani)
