About Me

Ciao!

My name is Victoria, but I often go by Tori :) I’m spending a semester living in Milan, Italy finishing my undergraduate work in Business Management Economics and then moving back to San Diego, California. I’m not in a place to host now, but I will be after I move back home.

I’m a outgoing person who is very inquisitive and excited about everything. I like to do things outside of my comfort zone and value experiences that can become great stories down the line.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the community and how incredible some of my trips have been because of people I’ve met through it. I think you learn so much more when you stay with a host and the value of it is priceless.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely love anything Indie and chill like Tame Impala, but depending on my mood enjoy faster paced rock or punk like The Frights and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. 80s music is of course always awesome too. And I’ve gone to a couple raves / edm concerts so uhh my music taste is all over the place.

I’m a big fan of movies and my favorite genres are superhero, syfy, and action adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two weeks backpacking over 200 miles through the John Muir trail in California. One of the most difficult yet rewarding things I’ve ever done

I stayed awake for 48 hours at the Fiesta de San Fermin - Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain , and consumed an inhuman amount of Sangria

I lived in Paraguay for two months with a host family doing community development and cultural exchange work. I spoke only spanish and the native language (Guarani)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me your recipes! Show me your favorite cafes, the best hiking trails, or your favorite hangout spots in your town. Tell me all about the history of your home, and all you life adventures and I will happily tell about mine. I’m down to have a chill night in or go out to a wild party, and I’m pretty easy to please.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I‘m an exceptional baker, amateur photographer, and love trading travel stories. So let me take cool pictures of you, make you food, or just be stellar company in your home.
