To be truly Awake to Life in all its glory and appreciate it with all my heart.

ABOUT ME

I came to take care of my parents in TN in Oct 2016. I actually live in Pleasant Hill, not Sparta, but that is the post office address. I moved near Asheville NC in 2010 from CA after living there most of my adult life, and then to Charleston SC in 2013. My family is on the East coast now. In 2015 I moved back west again, to Reno, NV to experiment with living in a meditation community.
I live a very quiet meditative life, but I do enjoy dancing and being social. I love to hike and be in nature.
I have been privileged to travel all over the world in my life. I am a deeply spiritual person, leaning towards Eastern philosophy and meditation but don't follow a particular path.

PHILOSOPHY

I am deeply spiritual without following one particular path, but I lean towards Eastern spirituality and am a mystic at heart. I meditate regularly. I find Spirit in all of Nature and Life.

I went to an all black African highschool in an apartheid country, where I was the only white kid for 4 years. I lived through the beginning of 2 civil wars, first in Angola, and then in Zimbabwe. I came to the US to go to college in 1970 in the middle of the counterculture and the Vietnam war.
