Hi strangers! I’m Victoria from China and now lived in Shanghai. I have some decisions to make for my life recently. I think couchsurfing is a chance for me to go back to my youth before moving forward. I used to be an exchange student in Sweden and travelled to many countries at the age of 20. With bravery and confidence, I went around almost all Schengen countries all by myself, and then America, Canada, and Asian countries near home. I enjoyed the whole process of planning a trip, travelling alone, meeting new friends on the road and sharing different stories. However, now I have few chances to do that. So I make myself a gap and try to go back to the old days. Personally I’m with “Buddha-like” mindset, which is popular word in China now. It’s a calm and peaceful state of mind which means to stop being rush about your life. I’m quite an open and easygoing person with high patience and tolerance about everything. I consider difference the most beautiful thing in this world. I may differ from you in every way but I can accept that. Mutual respect is the most important thing when making friends. If lucky, I may have a wonderful experience on couchsurfing -- find myself and my way -- go back to my life but with a refreshed heart.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of couchsurfing. It’s an attitude which connects the world with love. I think all travelers share the same feeling that a little help or companionship is unforgettable maybe in a lifetime. This is the place to continue and pay back
