Overview
About Me
After two years of work and one year of travelling (which makes 3 years of avoiding important life decisions) I settled down to study in Bonn.
I don't really have an eloquently phrased philosophy, but this summarizes me quite well:
This looks funny, let's eat it!
I am afraid of dogs, so I should definitely volunteer on that husky farm!
I am happy when things go as planned because then I feel like a genius mastermi... I mean, like a competent adult.
I am happy when things give my plan a pityful look and go crazy because then they make the cooler stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Propably for the same reason as you... Because it's amazing :D
Also I think there is a correlation (I can finally spell that word since I started studying psychology) between travelling cheap and adventures.
You could pay a restaurant OR go and dance with the Hare Krishna people to get a free dinner.
Hitchhiking saves you a bus and, uhm, locks you up in a very fast moving box controlled by a potential serial killer, but somehow gets you addicted.
Well and CS gets you to meet that half of cool people that does not sit in your hostel lobby.
Interests
Traveling (who would have guessed that), talking to people, food, singing, reading, writing, learning new things, languages, more food, sometimes running, swimming and playing the guitar (just don't expect skills far beyond “Country Roads“).
I would also like to learn drawing, sailing and scuba diving.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh that changes weekly...
If I start talking about books now I propably won't be able to stop for hours. Note to surfers: I am no big fan of hiding a password somewhere in your profile and then radically declining requests without it. But if you want to earn some brownie points, tell me about the strangest book you read lately in your request. Always looking for recommendations :)
I like lots of music, but I never remember the band. Or the singer. Or the name of the song. And I am good at lyrics, but suck at melody, so you wouldn't even recognize it if I sang it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The whole travelling thing is kind of amazing, but if I had to pick one thing, it might be camping on the Place de la République in Paris during Nuit Débout. Or the roadtrip through Iceland. Or the transmongolian railway. Now I picked three. Shame on me :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share travel stories and I can play Country Roads on the guitar. I am also extraordinary at putting instant couscous into hot water.
